Deferred

The BAEF offers a flexible deferment option for scholarship recipients, allowing them to postpone the use of their award for up to three years following their graduation date. This policy is specifically designed to support students who choose to take a gap year or delay their enrollment in higher education.

 

To maintain eligibility during a deferment period, students must follow these requirements:

• Annual Notification: Recipients must submit a written request via email each year.

• Submission Address: All deferment correspondence should be sent to barroneaf@gmail.com.

• Timeline: Requests must be renewed annually for the duration of the deferment, up to the 3-year limit.
