Governance

The Barron Area Education Foundation is governed by a

volunteer Board of Directors that operates independently

of the Board of Education. All directors serve without

compensation.

 

The Board is composed of the following:

 

• Community Directors: Local community members who manage the foundation's direction and decision-making.

• School Personnel (Liaisons): Members of the Student Services office, the High School Principal, and the Superintendent serve on the board to facilitate communication regarding student and staff needs.

• Selection Committee: A dedicated subcommittee of the BAEF board oversees the application and selection process for all awards and grants.
